Spring Break Evening Relaxation

Spring Break or Easter Break is upon us. Won't be slacking off the whole time. Have a project I need to get done and visiting family friends. But I'll make some time for some relaxing, rebooting, re motivation, re energizing and such :)

1. Make yourself a nice cup of tea. In my case green tea and a little honey

2. Paint your nails in a new colour you've bought or just anything you want :)

3. Watch the sun start to disappear

4. Create some ambiance by lighting some candles :3

Favourite Earrings At The Moment

So due to the course I am doing at University I actually can't wear a lot of necklaces, rings, bracelets and such because it can either get caught in the machinery (which would be a safety hazard) or it can get caught in the pieces you are making. Its sad but true. But I actually don't mind that much. Maybe thats why I have lots of piercings? Cause they can't get caught.

Here are my favourite earrings at the moment. I did wear more "gold", bronze and that kind of metal before but seeing as majority of my ears are pierced with titanium (best thing to be pierced with) I've just decided to wear more "silver" and that kind of look finish on metal.

My Piercing Collection

So its no secret that I like piercings and have a fair few in my collection at the moment. 12 to be exact :) Yes 12. And yes they are all visible. I have no hidden ones at all.

I suppose I just got a bit addicted lately. I've always liked them but I guess been under the false impression that to be able to successfully pull of the many piercings look you need to have a certain attitude and fashion. Meaning the obvious goth, emo, punk etc type. But now I no longer feel that way and wonder why I ever felt that.

So anyway here are my piercings. Enjoy!

Left ear.

3 lobes, 1 helix, 1 rook. 

Right ear.

3 lobes, 2 helix, 1 rook 

(if my ear seems a bit red and swollen its cause the 3rd lobe piercing was new that day)

And ofc my nose piercing :)

Sometimes a girl needs a new look :)

Sometimes you just need/want a new look. Either cause you're bored of your old look or you just want to "start over" and being a new era of you :)

You can feel what you feel whatever you want about this look. You don't have to like or or love it, you may hate it. But I couldn't care less :) I'm happy.

Last nose piercing post I promise.

Sorry. I promise this will be the last nose piercing post. I just love it. Its a CBR or BCR whatever you call it. The ball was originally inside my nose. Well you know what I mean. But it kept tickling me like non stop! Horrible feeling. So I decided to move it so the ball was out of my nose. And I am loving it! Haven't seen anyone yet with that kind of nose ring. But so happy I did it. Looks a bit different. This is how it looks :)

Attempt at nail decorating and cool owl vest top

Adore this owl vest top I found at Primark. Cheap as well! Very large size though cause I wanted it loose fitted. And also to make it appear longer.

I attempted to decorate my nails using a technique I found on youtube. Worked quite well. Triangles aren't perfect though. May use a different tape next time. Practice makes perfect.

Patterns in man made places

For the new research/drawing project we have to find patterns in man made places. Sometimes you have to look up and around to find patterns. Other times all you have to do is look down....

New favourite skirt :)

I found this amazing skirt at Primark. Short in the front and longer in the back and very flowy :) Love it! I can layer it with a dress underneath and that on top or just wear a top with it. Luckily its not very see through. Actually bought 2 of them - why not when you find something you love! PS. webcam photo hence why its not super clear. Here are some ways I have styled this skirt.

"New" nose piercing

So woke up and found out that my piercing had almost "disappeared". Basically my nose had swelled up (normal) and it seemed like it was engulfing my piercing. Which looked weird and make me paranoid. So contacted my piercing place and asked them what to do. Came in and talked to my piercer Lola (such a sweet girl) and she gave me some options and I decided to go for a ring. Kind of regretted not putting a ring in the first time so seemed like the natural option. She even changed it for free :) Said they do it if its withinn the first few days. And I'm a loyal customer to Forevermore :)

I love it <3 Although it is a bit sticky out, which is what you can see on the bottom image. Will change it to a more snug fitted one when I can :)

Day 2 and the nose is healing very well :) Well at least well. Keep accidentally knocking it though. Poor nose :( But still love it :) Getting used to how it looks now :)

And yes the ring is a bit big but that was the smallest it could be - at least during the healing process.

Term 2 Final Prints

So for 2 weeks we've had print and this past week we worked on our final samples. I found out quickly that although I adore patterns - I will never be a printer. The actual act of printing takes like 1-2 minutes. But there is so much prep work involved. So much prep and time consuming stuff to do. And I don't find joy in that. So probs won't. Missed the print rotation so my prints are very simple and basic compared to others in my group. But I like them and pleased with them despite one incident.  Oh they were taken with the BB so the quality isn't amazing.

Screen print. Correct fabric and colour but wrong print. Was supposed to the the screen print used on the combo piece - but something happened. Long story.

Crazy poofy hair and nose :D

I got my nose pierced! Love it! Photo now and then photo tomorrow when its calmed down. So ignore the slight redness. :D And poofy hair. What it looks after I take it down after being up for a while.

The nose piercings hurt so bad but worth it :) Weird feeling though... And it was a nice edition to my collection of piercings which is now... 11 :D

Nose piercing 2nd day :) The redness and swelling has gone down. Still a bit red but mostly just because I can't put make up on it. Duh.
