Print rotation term 2

Doing print now at the moment. Keeping it quite simple as I missed the last rotation where we learned everything. So basically just been mixing paint and making stencils. Here are my fabric samples and the new improved stencils I made this weekend :) Samples are between A5 and A4. Stencils A3.

High rise shorts + another weave

So I managed to do another weave and decided to break out of my comfort zone and bought a pair of high rise jeans shorts :)

Although it gives me back pain its worth it :) Only managed one today, but was better than nothing. And I do enjoy it. Despite deciding  to use the 16 shaft weave. (A shaft lifts all the threads with the same number. A table loom usually has 8 or 16 shafts. Lift shaft 5, 7 and 10 then all number 5, 7 and 10 threads will be lifted).

So during my weeks of boredom and no uni I found a girl on Youtube that I've been watching. A fashion guru. Love her. Amazing style, so sweet and gives great fashion and make up advice. Anyhoo she inspired me try out a dark lipstick. And I <3 it! So much! No7 35 Grace. Love it! And works so well with my snood. (Norsk - hals). Here are couple of pics of me and my new look. (Oh the first image has a "antique" look (mac editing) hence why the colours look a bit different.

Oh. Last night I made dinner for me and Breagh seeing as she made me a chicken pie on monday. And I was cutting open my pepper (Norsk - paprika) and it had babies! Not just one- but many! Random but true. Here they are :D And I found a lovely water bottle at Primark for just 2 pounds. So nice and warm and soft :)

Healing has begun!

So my piercings are all healing nicely now :) Slight problem with the helix on the left... but its ok and under control :) Swelling is completely gone now and so is the pain so I thought I'd post a pic of how they look now :) Really happy with em <3 Can't wait to show em off at uni :)

Term 2: Index project - Colour Palettes complete (all complete!)

So now I've managed to complete all of the colour palettes :D At first I only managed 3 because I couldn't find matching thread for the others, so what did I do? I took new photos and managed to create colour palettes for the other two photos required :) The colour palettes are ok I guess but I wish now, looking back, that I'd been a bit more adventurous. Oh well ;)

Oh and the piercings are well behaved. Rook 1 has calmed down after yesterdays disaster.
